Ezekiel Oseni, Ph.D. is a professor of finance and risk management, corporate finance expert, and seasoned financial executive. He holds degrees in Accounting and Business and Applied Economics from the University of Ilorin and Olabisi Onabanjo University respectively, and is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and the Galilee International Management Institute, Israel.
Dr. Oseni was a former lecturer at the University of Ilorin and Obafemi Awolowo University and adjunct faculty to several others. He is currently a professor at Babcock University Business School and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Lagos.
He has held senior leadership roles in Nigeria's financial sector, including General Manager and Chief Risk Officer at the Bank of Industry and Managing Director/CEO of National Economic Reconstruction Fund (NERFUND), where his exceptional performance earned him a commendation letter from the Federal Ministry of Finance on behalf of the Federal Government.
A fellow of several professional bodies and recognised authority in risk management — including the Chartered Risk Management Institute (CRMI), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) — he is also an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the Academy of Management of Nigeria, and a certified information system auditor (CISA).
Dr. Ezekiel Oseni currently serves as Executive Director (Risk Management) at National Credit Guarantee Company Limited and is passionate about advancing risk management practice and the importance of risk managers in every organisation. He is married to Dr. (Mrs.) Funmi Oseni.
